Hiller/ Furrower No. 540

The hiller / furrover is designed to earth-up vegetables and to draw furrows and grooves for planting, sowing and irrigation.
It can be used to move soil laterally to cover the edges of layers of plastic sheeting. It is designed to be used in well prepared soil.
Using it to plough or draw deep furrows in hard unprepared soil would need a lot of human effort and is not recommended.
